Posted on Wed, 3 Dec 2014
Question: I have been running a low grade temp between 99.7 and 100.4 for about two weeks now. I have had a short bout of the stomach flu in between about five days ago as well. I work in the school system. Is this something I should be seen for since I can not seem to get rid of this low grade fever?

Brief Answer:
Get yourself clinically examined and investigated.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would suggest that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated by a medical professional. Following investigations may be helpful :-
1. Complete Blood Count ( CBC ).
2. Liver Function Test ( LFT ).
3. Urine examination.
You can take paracetamol 500mg for relief. Drink lots of water daily. Further medical management can be planned after a clinical examination and knowing the reports of the above mentioned investigations.

Please attach the above mentioned investigation reports for further proper discussion.

I hope this is helpful to you. If you have any further query, I will be happy to help.
Regards.
Thanks.
