And whenever i get a stomach ache i get a back pain as well. Is it due to the GAS affect. Can anyone clarify me on this. Or it is something else. I am bothered about it. I am just 24 years.

Hello Doctor,

Thanks for spontaneous reply for my question. Here are my answers for the questions raised by you.
1. Where is the exact location of pain?

Ans: Exactly near upper abdomin to lower abdomin. While i am getting some sparkings inside while i get the pain as well as back pain. not able to sleep in the nigth.

2. Do you have associated nausea /vomiting?

Ans: I am getting vomiting sensation but unable to vomit. Dont knwo exactly regarding nausea .

3. Are you having constipation?

Ans: No problem with the nature calls. But takes time.

4. Is your appetite normal (meal)?

Ans: Had some spicy meal on that day and from that day it was like that. Had tried with ENO(powder). For some time it gave me relief but after that again the same thing continues.

5.Any other bowel or urinary complaints?

Ans: Urinal was in yellow colour.

6.Does skipping meals aggravate symptoms?

Ans: Have not tried with it.

Apart from these , my experience was like someone is poking from my stomach. Unable to sleep last nigth due to this. Is this due to GAS effect. Gas releasing was not easy since then but had a 3 times nature call from the early morning 1 am to 11 am morning.

Brief Answer:
Likely to be acid peptic disease

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Dear Mr XXXX

Going by description of your symptoms it is possibly due to acid peptic disease, causing flatulent dyspepsia.

I would suggest you the following

1. Acid Suppressant like Pantoprozole along with antiemetic like Domperidone will be helpful. They are usually available as over the counter medication.

2. Regular intake of meals : Have small quantity of meals more frequently

3. Ensure adequate intake of water : 2 to 3 liters a day

4. High fiber diet : 2 servings of vegetable salad and 2 servings of fruits especially citrus fruit will ensure adequate intake of fiber.

5. Avoid alcohol / carbonated / caffeinated beverage

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care

Best regards
Dr Deepak
