Brief Answer:
NSAID and Tiocolchicoside

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I have been through your question.

To the patients who present with such symptoms in my clinic due to cervical disc problems, I recommend starting with a NSAID if no contraindication and Tiocolchicoside which is a muscle relaxant.

Still, these are just symptomatic treatment, because your goal should be focused on the cervical spine problem with an MRI and eventual Neurological or Neurosurgical consult.

Talk to your GP about these recommendation

Hope this helps with your question, please feel free for further questions.

Wish you good health.

Brief Answer:
Surgery needs a very careful clinical radiological correlation

Detailed Answer:
Hello again. Well, surgery should be reserved as the last step, because it is invasive and you should be sure about its benefits.

To better judge if you need surgery I need the cervical spine MRI report and a detailed neurological physical examination.

Surgery is though a good option in isolated cervical disc degeneration disease, but it is less likely to be effective when more levels are involved.

Wish you good health.
