Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
It is not looking like staph infection.
Staph infection is always associated with pus.
I would like to know whether you have any symptoms like pain or itch in this red spot.
Do you have any systemic symptoms like body ache fever ?
Please answer the above so I can help you better.
Waiting for your response.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
It can be ring worm

Detailed Answer:
Hello
It's not staph.
I asked history of fever and pain to rule out this.
Yes you are correct, the most probable diagnosis is ringworm.
I treat such cases with topical clotrimazole.
It gives good response within a week.
You can try this .
Let me know if you have any other doubt.

Hello
It's not psoriasis.
The most probable diagnosis is fungal infection.
