Brief Answer:
I well recommend you use an CHLORHEXIDINE for baths!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this rash that you have reported. I have reviewed the attached images and this is not suggestive of a possible chickenpox infection. Neither is this typical of a bacterial infections. Its progressive nature also makes to unlikely to be related to an allergy. For now, I will say the clinical picture is not clear. All I will do is to protect the broken skin from possible bacterial invasion by recommending daily baths with an antiseptic such as chlorhexidine. It is my thinking that resolution would be spontaneous with 7-10days. If this fails, only at that time would i recommend further testing.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, keep me post don the progress of things.

Thank you Doctor. I forgot to mention, I was constipated for almost 7 days until this morning. Is it possible the rash could be some form of sepsis or poisoning from lack of a bowel movement?

Brief Answer:
NO!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is unlikely that this is caused by constipation. This is more likely caused by an external agent and not from inside out.

I wish you well.
