I can understand your concern m
Yes, I deal with these kind of patients In my daily clinical practice.
Botulinum injection is the treatment of choice for this. Since you have already tried this, surgery can be the option. Type 2 laryngoplasty can be done. But surgery is nt 100% satisfactory.

Yes, I 've asked this question before with my oncologist, if this is his title, or ENT and he just seems to ignore my question. Stressful life? absolutely! but I was also a professional singer and at home a karaoke master. I have to travel 3 1/2 hrs to visit this doctor which adds more stress to the painful injections I am going to receive. I heard from another person that if the surgery is not successful, I may not get my normal voice back. Let me know please and thanks for responding to my questions.

I may be wrong with the ENT 's title, no I do not have cancer, the only reason for wanting surgery is because both me and my husband always get a rental and take leave days off from work and deal with the horrendous traffic in Los Angeles and the stress drive of 3 1/2 hrs. I guess my best bet to to continue getting botox injections.
