Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

The throat needs to be examined for evidence of bacterial infection such as acute follicular tonsillitis or pharyngitis with positive strep test and culture. Throat swab should be taken for culture sensitivity testing. Antibiotics can be initiated if clinically relevant and tailored accordingly after the culture reports.

In the meanwhile, anti histamines, saline gargles and acetaminophen or ibuprofen can be used for symptomatic relief from the sore throat.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
