Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Cough And Yellowish Mucus Discharge From Eyes

default
Posted on Mon, 6 Jun 2016
Question: On Easter I rather quickly got very sore throat. Very difficult to swallow; swollen glands; ears congested. I had low fever--100-101 until Saturday, with body aches, etc. Developed cough, harsh, hacking out of control. Temperature went away on Saturday, and slowly throat has gotten better. Cough is sometimes hacking, but sometimes much weaker and looser. Couldn't go to work all last week, but now going since Monday. Feels much more like nasty but manageable cold. Last night began having whitish-yellowish mucus oozing from around right eye, followed quickly by left eye too. Cleaned with warm water this morning. Feel better. Is this just something that too has to pass (have never had before)? I really can't afford to miss any more work. Thanks!
