Brief Answer: soft tissue injury knee Detailed Answer: Hi, I have gone through your query. My friend form your history, I have come to the point that you have some soft tissue injury in affected knee, it may be spain or meniscal or ligamental injury. So I advise you to stop playing with immediate effect and consult orthopedic surgeon who will do your physical examination and if needed he may advise you MRI scan of the affected knee. Then he will tally his physical examination and report of MRI scan and act accordingly. If he thinks so then he may advise you rest or quadriceps strengthening exercises or advise you arthroscopic surgery if he needed. Till then you can take tab.aceclofenac+ thiocolchicoside combination by discussing with your doctor. You can do quadriceps extension exercise as up loaded on you tube when pain subsides. You must apply hot packs for 30 mins in morning and evening. I hope it helps. If you have found my answer excellent then, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer 5 points for me, so that I get a good feedback. Thanks a lot doctor for your response. As per your advice I consulted doctor, and after checking MRI he asked me to take one week bed rest. Here is MRI report says > Bone appears normal in alignment, marrow signal intensity. Cartilage thickness maintained. >Mild T2 hyperintese signal noted in posterior bundle fibers of anterior cruicate ligament. The continuity of fibers is however maintained. Anterior bundle is normal > Mild sprain involving posterior bundle of anterior cruciate ligament > Mild effusion in supra patellar bursa. My questions are, do i need to keep my leg in any specific position. Also how can doctor confirms it came to normal position after one week of rest. Can i play badminton after one or two weeks? Do you suggest any home remedy. Doctor prescribed below medicines for 5 days Enzomac nuFlexilor Bone K2 Esoz 20 He also asked me to tie 6 inch bandage in and around knee all the time. Thanks XXXX

Brief Answer: Your doctor hads righly advise you treatment. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for the query again. Your doctor has rightly advised you the treatment. You should try to avoid squatting and jumping and upstairs as much as you can. Try to avoid placing your knee joint flexed as much as you can. After one week your doctor again do your physical examination of knee and then he will advise you further medication. You should try to avoid playing any game including badminton for about one month and only if your doctor advise you playing, then you may consider badminton. You must tie 6 inch bandage in and around knee all the time it will provide relief to your knee and prevent swelling of joint. Take balance diet. There is no home remedy which will enhance your healing but taking rest and avoiding activities mentioned above will definitely help you. At-last I would like to say that you must have regular follow up with your doctor and do not take any medication without prescription of your doctor. I hope it helps. Thanks. Dr. Singh.

Brief Answer: No. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for you query again. Bad blood must be aspirated as advised by your doctor because it will promote healing faster. No need to apply warm massage, you only need to apply crepe bandage over affected knee to avoid further swelling. Take medicine only if your doctor prescribes to you. You should try to avoid playing any game including badminton for about one month. I hope you have got your answer. Thanks. Dr.Singh.
