Question: I've had a small bump on the side of my toe for about 6wks and it has recently bled a couple of times. is this probably a corn or something more serious?

According to your complaints it is unlikely to be a corn as a corn doesn't bleed unless manipulated.
It can be a pyogenic granuloma which is a benign vasular tumor but I would recommend you to upload the photographs of the bump so that I can have a clearer picture of the condition and can guide you accordingly.

I've accidentally bumped it on a door frame each time it has bled, if that helps. it didn't bleed out of nowhere.

It can be either pyogenic granuloma or a corn.
Both the conditions are not serious. l would recommend you to consult a dermatologist and get them removed.
