Hello. Thank you.

I am Dr. kakkar(Dermatologist and Venereologist). I have noted your concern.

Unfortunately I could not find any images attached with your query. I request you to kindly upload a few images of the skin lesions in "Reports Section" so that I am able to guide you further regarding these.

Also let me know if you have any associated symptoms like itching? burning?pain? etc

Mycosis fungiodes is a type of cutaneous lymphoma (usually a cutaneous T cell lymphoma, CTCL) that usually presents as asymptomatic, erythematous, scaly patches or hypopigmented lesions on covered body sites like buttocks, lower back, flanks etc.

Brief Answer:
I suggest skin biopsy

Detailed Answer:
Thank you.

Yes, this could be Mycosis Fungoides. Though the patches in MF look eczematous but they are asymptomatic unlike in eczema which is usually itchy. MF should be suspected particularly if the patches are persistent / increasing or not responding to routine eczema treatment with mosturizers and topical steroids. In your case I suggest a skin biopsy for routine histopathology and T cell receptor (TCR) gene rearrangement study to look for clonality - an important marker of CTCL/ Mycosis fungoides.
Patch stage MF has a very good prognosis, nonetheless. So please don't worry and kindly ask your primary care doctor to refer you to a dermatologist.
