Suggest Treatment For Skin Infection On The Right Thigh

Question: Hi, my wife had an infection on her right thigh for last two weeks, it is turned back now and radius approx. 0.70 inch. We have consulted a general doctor he had given us antibiotics but no good result, plz suggest what to do.

Noted the history about your wife: Female/26 - infection right thigh - 2 weeks - 0.7 inches now - consulted a General Doctor - given antibiotics but no good results - wants to know what to do further...
Since it is 2 weeks, the body tries to heal the infection and the wound, on its own and in return gives local a sort of reaction in the form of indurated part due to fibrotic reaction. This is more enhanced in the thigh as it has more fat and the healing is slow and difficult in parts of the body where there is more fat.

I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Please give details about the wound at present, and try to send the clear and focused photos of the infected area.
Also give the names of medicines she is taking.
Any other details so that I can give further assistance.
