Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that such heartbeat feeling inside the ear is caused generally caused by inflammation or the changes in pressure.

This is related to the sinus infection.

You should know that the inner ear drainage points is inside the nose cavity, next to the sinus drainage points.

So, inflammation of the nose cavity or soft tissues, can lead both to sinus infection and inner ear obstruction.

Do you have the feeling loss of hearing with this ear?

In such case, I recommend consulting with an ENT specialist for a careful physical exam.

Meanwhile, some nasal drops can help improve the situation.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
