Question: Hi I started to have a weird numb /burning feeling in my right cheek in January was told it was a tooth had it removed now the pain is still there and my ear is plugged I can hear water in it also my sinuses are inflamed and I have pressure in between the eyes and temples and I keep having this weird smell in my nose and my eyes won't focus and the right one feels like it's being pushed. Does this indicate sinus infection?

Brief Answer:
Sinus infection possible from your description

Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,

yes your description fits a sinus infection. First of all t is recommendable to use nasal douche, inhale hot steam, take some ibuprofen or paracetamol.

If it doesnt go away sometimes there is antibiotics necessary, mostly amoxicillin or azithromycin, perscribed by your general practitioner. Also examination through ENT doctor is advisable to rule out any conditions like nasal polyps that can be a cause for sinus infections. In that case there is also operation techniques available for polyp removal.

Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
