Question: I went to the dr. On Monday. I had bronchitis. She gave me levaquin. I took it for three days and had horrible side effects. Committing and dizziness. I went back to the doctor Friday morning. I have pneumonia in my left lung. I am now on cefdinir. I have had very water diarreah since the beginning. I am well hydrated but haven't eaten much. Today it looks like my very watery diarreah has blood in it. Me and my husband think yes but are on the fence. What do you think?

Brief Answer:
Legionella pneumonia can cause intestinal infection also.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Legionella infection in lung (legionella pneumonia) can cause intestinal infection and this can lead to dysentery (bloody diarrhea).
So better to get done stool microscopic examination and culture to isolate the causative organism.
Also get done sensitivity report to know the effective antibiotic.
You should start dual antibiotics.
So better to consult your doctor and discuss all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
