The current complains with the relevant history in your case, needs work for aspiration pneumonia as it's quite possible with the kind of feeding mechanism you have as well as thick secretions of plug in can cause partial obstruction of air ways and repeated suctioning and care is needed which seems very inconvenient at home.

From time to time basic infection work up with blood counts and CRP as well as chest Xray is needed and chest physio is also needed on regular basis. It's better to shift to a nursing home where, properly trained nursing staff who can deal both nutritional as well as medical aspects of such sophisticated care.
