Question: hi i have been experiancing shortness of breath for about 3 weeks went to emergency was told i had bronkitis shortness of breath and a cough i am taking albuteral sulfate breathing treatments 3 to 4 times a day still cant seem to catch my breath in less than 5 to 10 minutes also took a 5 day antibiotic and a 5 day steroid

I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should definitely get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) first.
PFT will not only diagnose bronchitis but it will also tell you about severity of the disease and treatment is based on severity only.
You may need long acting inhaled bronchodilators like formoterol or salmeterol. Combination with inhaled bronchodilators like budesonide or fluticasone is also useful.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
