Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In The Abdomen
Question: for about 1 week I have had a crampy feeling in my lower left abdomen - not a sharp pain - it doesn't bother me when I sit or lay down and fades after I am upright.

Hi
Pain in the left lower part of the abdomen could be due to Left sided ovarian cyst, Left sided ureteric stone , Colitis etc.
Ultrasound abdomen will give a.clue.
Please consult your doctor and proceed further.
If ultrasound is normal,it could be musculoskeletal pain.
Till investigations,I prescribe antispasmodic Dicyclomine to my patients with similar complaints.
