Suggest Treatment For Severely Painful Mouth Ulcer On Upper Lip
Question: Hi,
I have mouth ulcer in upper lip since last 3 days. Have tremendous pain not able to open mouth. I am applying Orocop MU gel but don't see much improvement. Can you please suggest good medicine.

I have gone through your query and picture.
Presently I would suggest you to take topical anesthetic and analgesics like XXXXXXX gel. / dentogel apply 3-4 times daily before food and if it does not help then topical steroid like triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% 4-5times daily after food. Along with this take capsule becosules once daily for week. You should be fine with this.
I won't be able to comment on Orocop gel that you have mentioned as I am not aware of its contents.
Apart from the above mentioned measures I would suggest you to Avoid foods that irritate your mouth, including acidic or spicy foods, Avoid irritation from gum chewing, Brushing with a soft-bristled brush after meals and flossing daily, which will keep your mouth free of foods that might trigger a sore, avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
