Brief Answer:
supportive measures mentioned

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I am Dr Mittal. I have read your query. I think I would be able to help you.

The symptoms of the upper respiratory tract infection is quite simple. It usually lasts 7 to 10 days. So of it is beyond y gat, you may need to be more careful , and consider lower respiratory tract infection.

For upper rrespiratory tract infection, the following measures usually help immensely-
1. Steam inhalation 4 times a day or more.
2. Warm saline gargles 4 time per day or more.
3. Multivitamin tablets almost always should be tried.
4. Paracetamol can be used sos for fever and body ache.
5. Plenty of fluids should help you.
6. Antibiotics may be needed sometimes. Azithromycin is usually a common choice but the exact antibiotic selection is best judged by a local physician as it depends on the drug resistance of the local infective organisms.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
