Brief Answer:
Periapical abscess due to decayed tooth!!

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

First of all thanks for approaching Healthcaremagic for your query. I read through your query and accordingly I must say that nothing to be worried in this situation.

It is a periapical abscess(pus collection beneath the root which is caused due to decayed tooth). It can be treated by a procedure called Root Canal Treatment and followed by crown placement(cleaning inside the tooth and placing medicinal filling followed by placing a cap over it). Infection and pus will be subsided soon after the treatment.

So I suggest you to meet up a dentist(endodontist) and get the treatment done. In the meantime you can do XXXXXXX warm salt water gargle so that infection will be reduced slightly.. Dentist may prescribe you antibiotics and analgesics which have to be strictly followed.

Be cool and stay happy. Tension can cause more pain. Hope you are benefited something from this reply. If you have still more queries please be free to approach us. Have a healthy day!!!
