Brief Answer:
Both eye and medical disorders can cause puffy eyes

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir

Puffy eyes are caused by Water retention in the eye lids.

This could be secondary to inadequate sleep.

Other possibilities include medical comorbidities like a thyroid disorder, Diabetes and Kidney diseases.

Local eye diseases of the eye lids can also result in this imbalance.
