Suggest Treatment For Severe Persistent Fever While On Crocin

Question: Hi, xxxxxx git fever 2hrs back . It was 102.8 that time. I gave him Croc in 5-6 ml. Now it is 101.8. Shold I go to hospital right now or can wait till morning.
Can I give him ibugesic plus also.

I can understand your concern.

You had given crocin syrup of 5-6 ml, which contains paracetamol, so wait for another 6 hrs and give one more dose of 5-6 ml of cocin syrup. after 12 hrs check the body temperature again.
So just wait and observe, no need to go the hospital immediately. Even after 12hrs if temperature didnt get reduce, then we need to think, if it raised more than 104 degrees, go to hospital.
is he having any other symptoms like cold , cough, body/joint pain?

Thanks doctor. now after 10 hrs his temp is 98 evn i had not given second dose of crocin. No other symptom as u mentioned but he has two three mouth ulcers. what to do now.

Give one more dose of crocin and stop it. For mouth ulcers no need of any treatment, give him fresh vegitables, fruits and plenty of water.If required give him vitcofol syrup or any multivitamin/b complex syrup, every night for 1 week.
