Question: I have a bladder infection, I am having sharp pains and I can not hold very much liquid. I must go to the bathroom right away after having a beverage.
Do I need a prescription to get better?

I read your question and i understand your concern. You most certainly need a prescription after some work up for the bladder infection but more importantly you need to avoid these beverages and all other stimulants as those trigger repeated bladder irritation and increased to frequency of urine. Visit a doctor, let them run some labs and give you a prescription for further management.
