Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Knees

default
Posted on Wed, 23 Nov 2016
Question: Since Last Week I am having pains on both or single KneeCap or HipJoint. I have already attached the question I raised earlier. I was told that Vitamin D deficiency can be one of the reasons and suggested Vitamin D and Calcium Tablets. I have also the Bone Profile Report attached. The Calcium is within the range but there is Vitamin D deficiency.
Please let me know if I have to take both Calcium and Vitamin D Tablets or only Vitamin D Tablet will suffice and its dosage. If Vitamin D deficiency is not the reason what can be the possible cause or needs to be checked. Please go through the previously asked question(attached) as I have mentioned the symptoms in details.

Brief Answer:
Vit D deficiency

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

The Vit D levels are severely low. Such levels can cause joint pains in any age. The prime and only suspect stays Vit D deficiency only.

You have to take calcium and Vit D supplements for a minimum of 2 months and then recheck the Vit D levels in the third month.

If you have pains even after the Vit D levels are normal, then other causes of joint pains must be considered.

Hope, I answered your query.

Wish you good health.
