Suggest Treatment For Severe Neck Pain

Question: I have rather severe neck pain mostly on the left side, when I get up in the morning. After an hour or so, the pain virtually goes away. I have a small cyst in the same area. Could that cause the pain?

The cyst seems superficial at the base of my neck, and it can be moved around, not attached. It is perhaps 1/2 inch in diameter and round in shape.
No, I do not exercise routinely.
No numbness in the area, but the fingers in my right hand experience numbness regularly.

Thanks for the information.

The pain you have is unrelated to the cyst and appears to be due to lack of exercise. Pain is mainly due to faulty position while sleeping causing muscle spasm. Such pain secondary to muscle spams is due to lack of exercise.

If pain is too severe you can take a combination of painkiller with a muscle relaxant like Tab DOLOVIN MR. One tab taken in the night after food for three days.

Regular exercise will prevent such episodes in future.
