Brief Answer:
approach to pain

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Pain can come from many sources and it is important to try and get to the root of the problem by working carefully with your doctor. I will give you some suggestions to try and see if you can get some relief.
Lyrica is for neuropathic pain (pain from the nerves) and is often helpful in diabetic neuropathy or problems like fibromyalgia. If you think it has helped your pain at all I would continue it.
You can try adding an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen or naproxen. In addition adding a multivitamin and some anti-inflammatory supplements like fish oil and vitamin c could be helpful.
Make sure you are drinking 2-3 liters of water daily and avoid all nicotine, alcohol and caffeine.
Exercise daily at least walking for 30 minutes.
Consider seeing a physical therapist for further assistance.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Regards,
Dr Robinson
