Brief Answer:
Get xray done.

Detailed Answer:
Hey, I have read your query.

You haven't tell me about any trauma occur to your previously, and how it occurs ad what's the severity of trauma.

If there is no trauma then it may be due to patellofemoral arthritis or simply Arthritis of knee joint for which you have to undergo X Ray of both knees standing AP view, and skyline view and send me the report.

If there was trauma then in get xray of that joint in Lateral view instead of skyline view.

Simply taking painkillers will not help, you have to get xrays.

Till then have tab.aceclofenac100mg+serratiopeptidase15mg thrice a day, by prescription of your treating doctor.

Apply hot pack.

Avoid squatting and upstairs.

I hope you got the answer.

Thanks,
