Brief Answer:
Try coconut oil and antihistamines

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Dont worry. It will not cause any damage to skin or at place of blisters. The directions written on label actually mean not to apply on blisters that are bleeding or exuding watery secretions. In chicken pox the blisters are not that bad.
You can simply wash the area with enough water to wash it off. Apply coconut oil on the affected areas to control the itch.

Take paracetamol for fever.

Anti-histamines like cetirizine can somewhat relieve itching but can also cause drowsiness which will not be good for exams. You can definitely try it after exams.

You can be relaxed about applying lactocalamine on blisters. Nothing bad will happen.
Hope it helps.

thank you for ur reply doc!
i am at relief.but recently i have noticed too many of these blisters on my face.my friend has bought a medicine called "ipecac".like all teenagers do,i googled about it (link-->http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-157-ipecac.aspx?activeingredientid=157&activeingredientname=ipecac) he says it gives instant relief as he just had the pox and he took this.but i suspect its use because of what i read, and also my digestive conditions arent really good.i already have hemmorhoids.should i take this? can i also apply the calamine lotion on my face blisters? a blister on my face became brown nd a hard yellowish substance fell..i mixed camphor in coconut oil and used to apply on evry effected area...is it any good? can i take bath? thnks in advance.

Brief Answer:
Coconut oil alone is just fine

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

I have never heard of ipecac's use in chicken pox or any other skin rash. There is no evidence of its use in chicken pox. So I will not suggest it.

Chicken pox is a self-limiting condition and you will any ways get relief from it in few.

Coconut oil is applied to get relief from itching. It has no role in its rapid healing. I will also not suggest mixing camphor in it and then apply. It may reduce some inflammation or have cooling effect, but there is no need of it.

Lactocalamine is also used only to reduce itching. It has no role in healing.

If the scabs are falling off, it means that chicken pox has started to heal. It will get better in a few days.

To deal with digestive conditions you can use cleaner drinking water of TDS less than 25 ppm.

Yes you can take bath. Preferably in warm water and apply some oil afterwards.
