Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache
Question: HI, I am having severe head ache on right side of my face, above the eyr brows. Have severe cold and yellowish mucus is coming from my nose. I suspect its sinusitis. What medicine should i take to get relieved of the pain till i visit a doctor tomorrow morning. As I am not able to find any doctor today as its Sunday.

As you have specified that you are already taking antibiotics for the infection and it has resolved according to you.
For the remnant illness you can try following advice.
1. Keep sinuses clean with recurrent nose blowing alternately from each nostril. But do not blow too hard.
2. Taking steam inhalation will give you relief from congestion and pain in sinuses.
3. Tablet allegra 120mg twice a day which you can take right away will help to reduce the cold.
4. For headache ibuprofen will help.
You will get symptomatic relief from above said advice.
After detailed examination tomorrow doctor will advice you further.
