Brief Answer:
Pregnancy induced hypertension to consider.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HealthcareMagic.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Even though preeclampsia ( pregnancy induced hypertension ) is more common in third trimester of pregnancy, it could also start on second trimester of pregnancy.

So, it is necessary to monitor your blood pressure and to consult with your Gynecologist about this issue, even to exclude it.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Take care.

Brief Answer:
Consider brain MRI then.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back and thanks for the additional info.

In such case, since there is history of idiopathic intracranial pressure, besides fundus oculi to evaluate papilledema, a brain MRI is necessary.

Discuss with your Doctor about getting evaluated further.

In good health.

Brief Answer:
In such case, not a serious condition.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

In this case you shouldn't worry about anything serious and should be treated for your symptoms.

The headaches may be related to pregnancy fatigue, emotional stress, increased hunger etc., most of these are harmless conditions.

Paracetamol is one of the painkillers that may be used.

If migraine is suspected, betablocker drugs also may be of benefit.

Hope this helps.

Greetings.

The only thing that i am afraid of IIH . How can i exclude this diagnose ?

Answered by Dr. Dr. Erion Spaho (9 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
MRI and funduscopic examination can exclude the diagnosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

Funduscopic examination and MRI are sufficient in my opinion to exclude IIH.

Since you refer about past IIH history, you may know that symptoms include visual loss, diplopia ( double vision ), pulsatile tinnitus ( ringing in ears ), besides headaches.

In my opinion, get treated for your symptoms and follow up with funduscopic examination about papilledema.

Hope I helped you.

Take care.
