Suggest Treatment For Severe Hair Loss

Question: Hi Doctor ,
I don’t have family history of losing hair,I started loosing lot of hair after I came to XXXXXXX The water here is not suiting me.I loose clumps of hair every time I take shower,I’m now taking shower with distilled water and see slight improvement . Please help,how can I overcome this problem , which water will stop my hair fall .
I'm from XXXXXXX I stayed in Iowa and XXXXXXX before this and I never had any problem there .

I have gone through your complaints and understand your concern.
Sometimes change of place can lead to hair loss.
I would recommend you to apply minoxidil 5 percent lotion on the affected areas of the scalp twice daily and take hair supplement tablets containing biotin. This needs to be continued for atleast 3-4 months to see significant results.

I still loose clumps of hair every day , Can you please suggest me an alternative to water for shower or any other alternative to come out of this .

Use distilled water, high protein diet, reduce stress and sound sleep

Hi,

Instead of plain water, you can continue using distilled water for head wash.
Also, maintain a high protein diet, reduce stress and take a sound sleep of 6-7 hours.
