Brief Answer:
Gum infection, nothing serious..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your description and the image attached there seems to be infection in your gums leading to change in colour and along with it there is inflammation and swelling..
There are also deposits over your teeth that are acting as a continuous source of infection..

I would suggest you to consult a Dentist and get evaluated and get a thorough cleaning of the teeth known as Scaling done followed by massaging the gums for gum pain..

Also ask your dentist to demonstrate a proper brushing technique so that you can maintain proper cleanliness of teeth in future..

Please write back for further queries..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..

That is good to know. I have anxiety and hypochondria so things like this freak me out. And it also keeps me from seeing people in person.

My last question is. The area that I pointed out, It feels a little different in texture like grainy or rough almost. Not all over just in the spot of the picture where the arrow is. Yet when I look at it I don't see anything.

Thank you.
Small correction. That whole area in the picture circles feels about rough but where the arrow is pointing is what I keep focusing on.

Brief Answer:
Stippling is the reason, nothing serious..

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Welcome back..

As per your query the roughness of the area of the gums you are pointing can be due to stippling of gums that is due to connective tissue elevations and depressions that is a normal anatomical structure and not an abnormality..

So again does not sounds anything abnormal and do not worry about it..

Please write back for further queries..

Regards.
