Suggest Treatment For Severe Diarrhea After A Colonoscopy Procedure

Question: I recently had a colonoscopy and was told I have colitis but the only symptoms I had was diarrhea.
I have no pain or any cramping. I have had several episodes of extreme tiredness followed by chills and later headacne and fever, around 101 degrees. I always wake up feeling fine before the episode feeling fine no symptoms of feeling bad. After the episode I am washed out and slight headache. My doctor prescribed XXXXXXX the diarrhea has stopped but I recently had another episode. Is this normal with colitis?

Yes, frequent episodes of diarrhea are seen in colitis. Alinia (nitazoxanide) can be given in such a case. Take paracetamol or acetaminophen for headache.

I forgot to mention thatt before the eposide Infeel fine. Nothing to suggest that I was having any problems.
