Question: My father-in-law is 93. It got hot toay, up to 81 degrees. He was doing yard work & suddenly got dizzy. He went inside the house, threw down the mail & his glasses on the floor and got on the bed because he thought he was going to faint.
He has a few arteries to his heart blocked; he has high blood pressure. He is diabetic. What should he do if he feel faint from the heat? My husband thinks his Dad was dehydrated. Thank you for telling us tonight what to tell himm tomorrow.

Hi,

You think correctly, he may become dehydrated from high temperature and develop low blood pressure. To avoid it, you should advise him to take much liquids and a Paracetamol for high temperature.
