Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough

Question: I have been coughing everyday since the beginning of last month. It starts off as a small itch in my throat and then I start coughing. I'm not sick and I'm not allergic to anything. I was told by my doctor that I have acid reflux. I just took a ultra sound of my thyroid and they did a x-ray of me drinking some kind of liquid. I'm still waiting on my results. I never told my doctor about me coughing because I thought nothing of it but now it's getting worse. Can someone tell me what can cause this coughing?

1)Do you have difficulty swallowing?

2)Do you have history of chest pain or pressure along with coughing?

3)Have you done CBC with differential if done then what is the result?

Thanks for your follow up question.

As per your clinical history is concerned you have no serious disease present. You can take a dry cough syrup and do saline gargle. Do check your blood differential count if any findings' comes ask your doctor to prescribe medications for it.

As you have no history of difficulty swallowing which is called as dysphagia so nothing to be worried about stomach and oesophageal major diseases.
