Brief Answer:
Montec Lc is mostly used as prophylactic.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. Montek Lc is given as prophylactic from getting allergic rhinitis or wheezing. If you having mild to moderate wheezing it might help also. But it should be taken at least for one week to settle the allergy. Those who are getting attack very often are advised to take Montek Lc daily as prophylactic.
If no improvement then you may need bronchodilators like salbutamol as syrup or as inhalation. In case of yellowish phlegm antibiotics will be needed also.

Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Antibiotics will be needed.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.

Thank you for your follow up query.

As you have yellowish phlegm there is bacterial infection. So antibiotic therapy will be needed. If you were my patient I would suggest antibiotics like Co-amoxiclav or Azithromycin. These are prescription drugs. You can ask your GP for prescription.

For wheezing and cough taking salbutamol or levosalbutamol syrup will be helpful. This can be taken 5 to 10 ml twice daily. You can take paracetamol if fever is present. Taking strong coffee or tea is helpful for wheezing also.

Let me know if anything not clear.

Thanks.
