Brief Answer:
Hi, Wysolone is given to reduce inflammation quickly

Detailed Answer:
Hi, Wysolone is given to reduce inflammation quickly as was done in your wife's case for her tooth problem. However because it suppresses inflammatory response, the cell count goes down and therefore the body's capacity to fight infection goes down. So yes, it is all related and why your wife developed all these infections, fever and low counts. A proper course of antibiotics will cure all her problems. She is also anaemic and later she needs iron therapy. And I am a little confused. You say she is a minor but her report shows she is 35 years of age.

I was concerned as someone told me a low wbc count could point to something serious!so i was really concerned?if you think there is nothing to worry, its pretty good.

Brief Answer:
Hi, yes, a very low count could point to Bone Marrow suppression.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, yes, a very low count could point to Bone Marrow suppression. But I do not think that is the case in your wife. However if the counts continue to go down then a bone marrow test will have to be done. But at present just a course of appropriate antibiotics will help, so do not worry. Regards
