Brief Answer:
Please upload the reports

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

A serum creatinine value of 5 indicates a state of compromised renal function (chronic kidney disease or CKD) and needs urgent intervention, possibly dialysis. However, I would insist you to upload the report for confirmation. The blood urea level does not correlate.

Please let me know if you have pain around the joints. The uric acid level is otherwise in the normal range.

Brief Answer:
Please mention the measurement units.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Could you please mention the units (creatinine can be measured in mmol/l or in mg/dl) and the mentioned reference ranges?

I could not understand what you mentioned about Met XL. Do you mean to ask whether you need to switch over to it? Please clarify.

Brief Answer:
Chronic kidney disease

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back and for clarifying. The creatinine level is quite high and you need to see a nephrologist who would be able to take the necessary steps. A dialysis is likely to be needed.

Please do not ignore. Continue the medicines as suggested.
