Suggest Treatment For Severe Bladder Infection

default
Posted on Tue, 21 Feb 2017
Question: I has a very bad bladder infection that caused me to be on three rounds of antibiotics. It then caused me to have a yeast infection. I treated the yeast infection with canestan 3 day cream treatment while i was still on the antibiotic. Symptoms seemed to subside, but now since i finished the antibiotic and cream treatment, i am still itchy and i have some spotting. Im a bit crampy as well. I dont typically get a period because i have an IUD mirena. Is this still the yeast infection?

Brief Answer:
Try with home remedies first

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query to HealthcareMagic.

I have read your question and understand your health concern.

If symptoms of yeast infection have subsided and you feel still itchy try with home remedies such as:
Sit'z baths adding white apple vinegar
drink cranberry tea
eat yogurt every night for about one month
While you have used three rounds of antibiotics you can use an additional probiotics.

If itching remains persistent or you will have any cheese vaginal discharges than you should continue a second course of cream.

Hope I was helpful. Do let me know in case of any further queries.

Best regards

Brief Answer:
Explanation is given below....

Detailed Answer:
Hi again!

Spotting with mild abdominal cramps can be due to periods.
Very rarely yeast infection can be associated with spotting, and this happens when yeast causes small lesions .

Hence if you have only itching without swelling and lacerations, then spotting can be due to your periods .

Please feel free for further discussion .
