Back pain and heart disease are rarely related. Unless there is an extending disease into the great vessels suppling the lower part of the body, no heart disease would manifest with back pain. Back pain is often related to diseases of the vertebral column and the back muscles.

In most cases, these may be found together but there is no causal relationship between them.
