Brief Answer:
Likely to be musculoskeletal pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms

Presence of pain which is severe and on one side of back could be either due to

1. Herpes Zoster Pre-eruption neuralgia

0r

2. Musculosketal pain usually due to muscle spasm

I assume there is no radiation of pain in thigh or weakness while walking

It would be very helpful if you could provide me clinical photograph for further evaluation of eruptions over chest and back

In the meantime I would suggest you the following

1. Bed rest

2. Hot water fomentation to affected area of pain either by using hot water bag or cloth soaked in hot water

3. Analgesics like Ibuprofen will be helpful along with skeletal muscle relaxant like Chlorzoxazone will be helpful

Awaiting your further response

Take Care

Best Regards
Dr Shobha

I am currently on cyclobenzaprine with a prescription. I take it at nighttime right before bed to help me sleep better due to I have a muscle strain that s also affecting my sciatic nerve. I am off work right now, but when I go back would I still be able to take this pill at night and operate under my cdl the next day. Would this drug show up on a dot drug test if I was pulled in for a random or god forbid an accident.

I have pain in my left upper arm. There is some pain in upper spine also. Seen doctors several times. They advised physiotherapy (Hot pack, IFT and exercise ) and muscle relaxant ointments and Etoshine MR tablets. Pain reduces a bit after physiotherapy for 3-4 weeks but again reappears. Need some advice.

Six months ago, I was dancing (I know it is isn t a sport, but my injury is close), and I was doing a full split while I slipped and split fully and too fast. Since then, on my left leg, I have been experiencing pain whenever I stretch . This pain is localised to one long line from my groin to mid-thigh, on the inner side of the leg. I would like to know if the injury is serious, what type of doctor I should consult, and if muscle relaxants (like Moov and Volini) will help, along with hot and cold foamentation and wrapping the injured area with a crepe bandage .
