Question: Dr. Rynne, I am a 75 year old woman having severe anxiety due to many reasons. I have had severe shingles for nearly i year, following colon surgerery in may. Followed by a foot break, requiring a plate being installed. Now i am having severe panic attaticks (something new) and loss of all controll.
I had been previousuly diagnoised as having many mental issues, included, but not limited to bipolar, sychopherenia, and other mind ptoblems. I had never been really ill until 10 years ago when 'I had been having loss of my lower body strength,,,could need assistance in walking,then needed a walker, then a wheel chair,,,not one doctor, specialist had a clue,,,went to the best in XXXXXXX Francisco medical facilities....??? About 6 years ago I went to the ER with severe pain on my lower right side. I had a case of double pnemonia, lungs drained, ect. etc...was in the ICU for a month. At Doctors rounds, a Doctors Assistant, looked at my chart and announced you have an allergic reaction to statins!! Who knew? Apparently no one but this PA, spotted it (apparently not an unusual reactioun to thisdrug) My opinion, the begnning to all my major problems. Am no longer in a wheelchair.
O.K. back to now; shingles continue... I have been forced to sleep in a chair, too uncomfratable in my bed. The shingles are on my left side if my back. I take 3 gabapentin 300 mg 3 times each day, 1 hydrocodon-actami nophn 10-325 every 4 hours and 3 liquid gel caps of advill. Still no releaf, I was given morphine, not good for me fell three times, was really out of, 2nd day, vomiting all day could not take water. Dr. changed to Tramadol hcl 50 mg. was not the answer, still dizzy, falling , etc. I quit. During the change of routine, my evening meds were discontinued, It was not long that I stopede all meds but the pain meds. No reason, the pain was my only issue.
after three weeks I was rushed to the er this time I had passdout..they said might have been a medication problem. Next day, back at the ER, I had severe migrain, going on for 4 days, blood pressure 235! Very high for me Last trip to the ER was Thursday March 9th..confusion unable walk wthout assasiance; sever anxiaty, feeling no one could help. There was no one that could get me out , my world had fallem apart. I need help but sinse i had no gaping head wound or a hear attack..juse go home. bearh deeply and you will be fine...

Oh yes ,I have see so many doctors over the years...only for a tetinus shot because my horse trrew im into a reust fence. I had never had mental problems ever...I was a very sucessful busines person, making $400000 a year. No meds, And now look at me, I cannot write a decendtent letter.

Then, no doctors in my life, that was for sick people. Then after 35 years of marriage, I asked for divorde....the beginning of my deteration, I had just ruined my entire family. I tried to kill myself...end of case. no sooner got home from the hospital that I was summon to a meeting to sign my resigination that I would never work again! Oh gosh, there goes the money,,,,no more fancy cars for the dad , mom, could you spare me a quick $5000, I am a bit short, no more wonderful chriistmas gifts and the biggest blow...he wants spousal support!!! Oh boy, a big mental breakdown, my only one to support I had was XXXXXXX lifemlong friend and friend to the entire family since my Mother was ill, BIG ALSO, I had the support or my only familary Finally spelled her name Meredith!!!


The sagga continues....I come out as XXXXXXX on now the real problems begin.....to br continuede,,,,
