Question: Hi,

Last year i underwent an surgery(fissurectomey) for anal fissure. After the surgery the first 10 days was hell period with severe pain in anus. The doctor suggested to take pain killers for 3 days and then it started healing. Then everything went smooth and i was fine. There was no pain. But all of a sudden for the past one month im having pain in my anus at the region where the wound was healed earlier. When ever i pass stools i feel some pain and after that the pain sustains for more hours. I checked with my doctor and he said the wound is completely healed. He asked me to apply lox jelly during the pain period.

I want to know how long will i have to face this situation.I thought surgery was the final remedy. But still facing this situation and its like a mental pressure. What are the precautionary i need to take care in order to prevent it in future. Im not able to exercise due to this pain.Feeling very must distressed.

Please advice

Brief Answer:
Pain will subside on its own.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I can most certainly understand your concerns.

Since your doctor did a per rectal exam and said the wound is healthy, you need not care much.

The pain should lessen in a week's time.

Along with lox ointment, I advise you maintain daily intake of dietary fiber for 3 weeks. This will facilitate to prevent such episodes in future.

Limit daily exercise for a while until pain subsides.

I generally recommend my patients Isphagula husk at bedtime daily. Please check with your doctor if he shares my view and if can prescribe the same to you.

Post your further queries if any.
Thanking you.

Hi Dr,

Thanks for your reply. I'll be trying to meet my Doctor by early next week. I would like to know if this problem will persist for ever. For the past two days the pain is severe. Im trying to cope my self with the pain. This is affecting my work as well as mental pressure.

The internal sphincter muscle spasm is occurring very often. Do we have any natural treatment for it on daily basis. Just want to get rid of this pain. For diet i take 2 banana before going to bed and apply coconut oil on the wound region.I dont have any problem is passing stools. But the problem is only after passing stools. The pain sometimes is un bearable. Is there any immediate treatment which reveals the pain. Please do advice.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Analgesics will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I can certainly understand your concerns.

I apologize for the delayed response.

This condition is certainly not a permanent issue.

For adequate pain relief, I recommend oral tablets of LYSER D for few days to my patients.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe them to you.

Banana and Coconut oil are good.

No natural therapies are effective against this pain control.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
