Suggest Treatment For Severe Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy

default
Posted on Tue, 1 Apr 2014
Question: I have severe RSD because the doctors blew me off. Been to Cleveland clinic and 25 other doctors and no one will help. The pain is excruciating and no help with relief. I do not sleep until body shuts down. Can barely walk. How do you get rid of this awful disease? I am going out of my mind with pain. No doctor will prescribe pain medicine. I sprained my ankle by falling down five steps...I told them something else was going on....then six weeks later slipped in shower....pain worse.....foot way worse....then I fell two weeks after that and broke ankle and a bone chip. Doctors would not help with pain. PT made it worse several months later. Took 25 doctors to dx. and NO HELP. Now 1 1/2 years later it is very severe.

Brief Answer: Then sympathetic block can be done. Detailed Answer: Hello, I have studied your case. Reflex sympathetic dystrophy is common after injury which can lead to hardness. RDS needs prolonged multimodal treatment, Tryptomer, and calcium channel blockers will help you. Take them consulting your doctor. If you are not getting relief with medication then sympathetic block can be done. Many of my patients find relief with yoga, pranayama, meditation and XXXXXXX XXXXXXX So you can also do that to improve your treatment results. Do continue physiotherapy. Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
