Detailed Answer:
Hi

Welcome to this site!
I am Dr V XXXXXXX
Iam a Sr Consultant Dermatologist.

I have noted your details.
It is good and relieving that the biopsied tissue turned out to be benign keraoses.

These small raised lesions are normal as we mature and are considered to be the part of skin changes that occur over a period of time.

There is nothing to cause alarm if these lesions appear over the time and are almost asymptomatic.

I am listing some measures that will help you though it is not intended to prevent them altogether since these are normal skin changes:

1 Good personal hygiene

2 Healthy habits pertaining to diet, addictions, and exercising

3 Minimum exposure to UV rays from the sunlight

4 Use of sunscreens

5 If the lesions become too numerous to cause cosmetic concerns, then one can rid of them by simple curretage, radiofrequency fulguration, or laser. Some specialists prefer chemical cauterization as well but I think it should be resorted to when one is sure about the risks of pigmentation and scarring which are difficult to assess beforehand.

I believe this information did help you and I will be only too glad to answer any further queries, if need be.
