Suggest Treatment For Schizophrenia

Question: Resp. Dr. XXXXXXX
My daughter suffering from sizopharnia since 2008 regularily under the medication of RINPAS. When ever they checked the patient only 3 medicine prescribes.
1. Olnapara 10/15/20
2. Pacitan.
3. Palaris-6 some time Palido OD-6.
After complete 8 years of same medication she yet not been recuperated.
I have just a simple question Sir, till date no other latest effective medicines not been invented?
Your kind reply shall give some peace to an old father of the innocent girl.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

I like to inform you that in last ten years almost 10 new medicines for schizophrenia discovered but none of them is superior to OLanapra (Olanzapine). I mean to say that despite advancements the science is not able to discover the gold standard treatment for schizophrenia.


Considering her poor response to olanzapine and Paliperidone I feel there is need to discuss the option of clozapine which is indicated in resistant schizophrenia. Since she have active hallucinations despite use of adequate dose over the last 10 years she almost meets the criteria of resistant schizophrenia and Clozapine can be used provided there is no contraindications.
