Suggest Treatment For Scaly Skin Patches On The Scalp

default
Posted on Tue, 27 Dec 2016
Question: I have these patches on my scalp for nearly 3 years now, this is currently after a shower, usually I have large patches of skin falling off from these patches, similar to dandruff but much bigger in size about 1-2cm sometimes. It is itchy around those spots.
I have used flucort lotion with minimal effect, mild steroids applied directly on the scalp, and vitamins a, d and riboflavin.. Eritop lotion gives me temporary relief, with large scales peeling off in 2/3 days of applying the lotion.

The patches appear behind both ear pinna, and the outer edge of my right hair line below the ear. There are no other patches on my body anywhere.

These patches are of seborrheic dermatitis.

I suggest you to use protar-k shampoo every alternate days.
Topically you may use calpsor -c lotion, twice daily in scalp.
Use flutivate-e cream, twice daily on affected skin behind the ear.
