Eczema

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to see that you have having problems with your skin above your eyelids. This is very evident in your image that you sent. This is due to eczema or very sensitive skin. You are reacting to something in your environment. It could be anything from your soap or shampoo to pollens or detergent in your wash. To start treatment I would recommend apply hydrocortisone twice daily until the area settles down. The scabs are from the thin cracked skin getting infected. I would not recommend using any antibiotics creams or ointments as they can cause allergic reactions. If the hydrocortisone does not work you may need to see your medical provider for a higher dose steroid like triamcinalone.

The next thing I would do is stop using fabric softener in you wash and change detergents to a hypoallergenic variety used for diapers. You may also add a HIPA filter into your air conditioning or heating system to remove as many pollens as possible.

In summary
1. eczema or sensitive skin
2. Apply hydrocortisone
3. Change detergents and stop fabric softeners
4. Change soap and shampoo to something hypoallergenic
5. See your medical provider if no better
