Suggest Treatment For Running Nose And Cough While On Delsym
Question: My nose was running a lot for 3 days with some occasional dry coughing. Yesterday, urgent care prescribed me prednisone, flomax, and (only if symptoms persist 3- 5 more days), a z pack. Also took delsym for the cough. The cough and runny nose subsided, both returned today and the flomax and delsym have decode ineffective. The gave me a quick flu test with cotton swab in nostrils which was negative. I have not taken the z pak. What should I do at this point?
